FundraisingThese programs fund our technology, reading, math & Spanish specialists, teacher development and training programs, classroom support and enrichment materials, student programs and PTA initiatives, faculty expenses and technology maintenance and equipment upgrades, just to name a few. Grocery CardsCurrently HEB and Randalls annually contribute $30,000 to Highland Park on your behalf. Your willingness to participate in this program and pay for a portion of your groceries with our gift cards provide more programs for all of our children. Gift WrapThe Gift Wrap and Chocolates fundraiser kicks off in September and raises more than $20,000 for the school. Birthday BooksPlease join our Birthday Book Club and help bring in new stories to our Scotties. In the library there is a trolley full of new books, just choose one with a donation of $15.00. Or you can purchase your own special new book. The book you select will be inscribed with a personal dedication to your child. They will have their picture on the birthday book club display for the whole year and will be the first to check out their new book. You will find the dedication forms on the school web-site. Endowment FundDonate to the Highland Park Elementary School Endowment Fund at the Austin Community Foundation. The earnings of this fund are used each year to cover various programs for the school.
